I'm Molly Dean, and I define myself by my work ethic—a dedication that has allowed me to build a life I’m truly proud of. Born in Bucyrus, Kansas, and now deeply rooted in the Kansas City area, I’m a proud Jayhawk who has grown up, married, built a family, and grown a business right here at home.
Kansas City Photography Feature: Resilience, Growth, and Gratitude
The experiences that have shaped me include the heartache of losing my mom, a challenge that taught me to grieve differently as the oldest daughter, stepping in to support my dad, sister, and brother. Working through that grief has made me a stronger and kinder person, more focused on caring for those around me. I’ve learned that sometimes you have to say, "I was wrong," and that embracing mistakes can lead to unexpected, better outcomes.

My professional journey hasn’t been a straight path—some days I feel like I’m moving forward, and other days, it feels like I’m being pulled back. But real success, I’ve discovered, is measured by how you respond to adversity. I take immense pride in helping others achieve their dreams, like guiding clients to buy homes when they thought it wasn’t possible. Confidence, for me, means knowing that I can make a difference in people’s lives—yes, I’m that good.

Family is my greatest pride. I cherish every moment with my husband, Josh, and my daughter, Rhea, whose love and support inspire me daily. I nurture myself in unexpected ways, like buying shoes—yes, I have over 100 pairs of high heels, and I even redesigned my closet to accommodate them! Wearing a great pair makes me feel like I can close deals in heels and conquer the world.
My message for women over 40? Be bold. Take the leap and try new things. Many of my friends and colleagues have reinvented themselves later in life, proving that success is attainable if you’re willing to work for it. I hope to inspire others by showing up when it matters most, sharing in both the challenges and the triumphs, and reminding everyone that with a little courage, we can all create a life we’re proud of.
