I’m Jamie Borgmann, and six months ago, I climbed to Basecamp of Mt. Everest. It was the hardest thing I’ve ever done—physically, mentally, and emotionally—but it showed me that if I can get through that, I can get through anything.

Professionally, I’ve learned that true leadership isn’t about being liked—it’s about standing in truth, even when it’s uncomfortable. And sometimes, that means making tough decisions. I’m proud of walking away from a financially rewarding job when it no longer aligned with my values. That choice taught me the power of integrity and self-respect.

Self-care is also a priority for me, and I’ve learned to unapologetically invest in it. Monthly Thai massages are one of the ways I refuel—it’s something I do just for me, and it makes a world of difference.
