Elle Steadman: Leading with Heart and Purpose in the 40 Over 40 Project

I’m Elle Steadman—entrepreneur, designer, mom of four, and someone who leads with purpose and heart. My greatest joy in life is being a mom to Noah, Warner, Jax, and Annie. They are my everything and the reason behind everything I do.

I’m passionate about making a difference, especially when it comes to giving back to the community and helping those in need. After Children’s Mercy Hospital saved my daughter’s life at just three weeks old, giving back to them through my work has become one of the most fulfilling parts of my career. From designing shirts for over 3,400 nurses to raising and donating thousands of dollars, it’s been an honor to support a cause so close to my heart.

Overcoming Challenges and Giving Back to the Community Through Kansas City Photography

I’ve been blessed with some amazing experiences—appearing in national interviews on the NBC Today Show, USA Today, and New York Magazine, and being recognized as The Global Orphan Project’s Advocate of the Year. I’ve raised over $50,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters, donated $75,000 to Children’s Mercy, and created over 20,000 hours of fair trade work in Haiti through apparel production. And as of April 11th, I’ll be announcing one more exciting milestone to add to the list!

My advice to women over 40: Spend your time doing things that bring you joy. Life is too short not to feel fulfilled.

Embracing Life’s Purpose in Your 40s and Beyond: The Power of Photography to Reflect Your Story

My portrait session was a beautiful reminder to pause, reflect, and celebrate all that I’ve become. It made me feel radiant—and so proud of this chapter of my life.
