ELITE WOMEN OF KC: The First Edition of the Over 40 Project

A celebration of 40 incredible women and their stories.

"Elite KC was the beginning."

It started as a simple idea — to celebrate women over 40 who were still showing up, still growing, still making an impact in their families, careers, and communities.

What unfolded was something much bigger.

Forty women stepped forward.

Forty stories were shared.

Forty portraits became a reminder that beauty, strength, and purpose don’t fade with age — they deepen.

Each woman came from a different background and season of life.

Some were building businesses.

Some were starting over.

Some were navigating loss, change, or new beginnings.

All of them were brave enough to be seen.

Many arrived feeling unsure.

They left feeling proud, connected, and reminded of who they are.

Each participant received a full portrait experience designed to celebrate her story and this chapter of her life.

Together, the portraits and stories became:

• A gallery exhibition

• A printed publication

• A community of women who had shared something meaningful

For many, it was the first time in years they had done something purely for themselves.

When the project was complete, the women gathered together to see their portraits displayed and to celebrate what they had created as a group.

It was emotional.

It was joyful.

It was a moment none of us will forget.

What began as a photography project became a lasting connection between women who may never have met otherwise.

Elite KC was the first chapter.

Project Beauty: The Next Chapter builds on that foundation — expanding the experience, the storytelling, and the community even further.

If you’ve been wondering whether this experience is right for you, this is where it began.

See yourself how others see you.
